Welcome to Learn Well Sdn Bhd - the proud franchisee of Smart Little Bean Early Reading Center! We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children, where they can develop a strong foundation in language skills and foster a love for reading. With our unique features, including customized worksheets and the power of storytelling, we aim to enhance children's learning abilities and unlock their full potential. At Learn Well, we understand the importance of early childhood education and its impact on a child's future success. With this in mind, we have partnered with Smart Little Bean Early Reading Center, a renowned and trusted name in the field of language education. Together, we strive to create an innovative and effective approach to early reading that is both fun and educational.

Smart Little Bean Early Reading Center – Denai Alam (Pusat Perkembangan Minda Cerdik Bahasa) was set up in the year 2020 under the franchise brand Smart Little Beans which had been running since 2006.

They have one of the most complete materials to allow children from the age of 4 – 12 to master listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Focusing not only on one single language but three core languages (Malay, English, and Chinese). Leveraging on the powerful tool of Flashcard which exercises the mental process of active recall, allows any children to learn 1000 words of all three languages within one year.

Our Specialities

Individual teaching using Flashcards

Flashcards have been used since at least the 19th century, with Reading Disentangled (1834), by English educator Favell Lee Mortimer being credited by some as the first flashcards. Flashcards engage “active recall” meaning you are attempting to remember the concept from scratch rather than simply staring at the passage in your textbook or recognizing it on a multiple-choice quiz. Active recall has proven to create stronger neuron connections for a memory trace.

Storytelling & Reading

Storytelling makes learning effective because it works for all types of learners. Storytelling works on all types of learners- Visual Learners, Auditory Learners, and Kinesthetic Learners. Visual learners appreciate the mental picture storytelling evokes. Auditory learners focus on the words and the storyteller’s voice. Kinesthetic learners remember the emotional connections and the feelings of the story.

Trilingual

We focus on developing the ability to read fluently and to write in all 3 languages (Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese)
